About The Role
JOB SUMMARY / INTRODUCTION:
AVP, Events & Sponsorship:
Implementation and management of a well-coordinated, strategic approach to service all corporate sponsorships and partnerships.
Assist the VP in identifying and managing a portfolio of sponsorships and partnership to deliver against core business objectives.
Responsible for the development and management of sponsorship, partnership, and activation programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Demonstrate compliance to organisation’s values and ethics at all times to support the establishment of a value drive culture within the bank.
- Manage and ensure effective implementation of functional policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of assigned department activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements, fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
- Maintain a positive, productive working relationship with other team members, being proactive, using own initiative and taking ownership of situations.
- To embrace the voice, attitude, values and integrity of the Brand.
- Lead the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
- Actively seeks personal development opportunities that supports the team’s careers progression within FAB.
- To deliver added value that can be leveraged across all marketing channels.
- Ensuring all sponsorships rights and benefits are integrated and utilized as business objectives.
- Responsible for the management of associated budgets and business plans.
- Develop productive internal relationships to capture and leverage all possible marketing and sponsorship opportunities.
- Evaluate and analyse sponsorship requests.
- Ensure all planning and execution documentation prepare in timely manner.
- Monitor the administrative tasks to ensure efficient use of the events account budget.
- Coordinate with branding team or any other departments in relation with any communication/media matters to ensure delivering of timely media services.
- Ensure branding of stand and any other branded deliverables is in line with branding guidelines.
- Functions within the framework and boundaries of Group policies as well as overall organisational and governance frameworks.
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Communication or related discipline.
- Strategic thinker with passion and energy to remain committed, accountable and get things done.
- A team player who strives to drive performance, develop talent who can achieve exceptional results.
- Solid understanding of project and contract management, and planning.
- Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- 5+ years’ relevant experience in a similar role or related discipline.
