Process Technician (Evening Shift)

This is a shift role working evenings from 3pm -11pm. This job is based in a cutting-edge facility in Galway.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Work with Manufacturing Engineers in developing, trouble shooting, standardizing, and improving existing production methods and procedures.</li>
<li>Strong mechanical problem-solving skills essential. Follow systematic root cause problem solving and troubleshooting to resolve issues.</li>
<li>Yield Management – Ability to manage yield on an hour-by-hour basis and analyze trends and identify opportunities for improvement</li>
<li>Support continuous improvement activities to optimise processes, reduce waste and consistently achieve required yield targets.</li>
<li>Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance, completing all associated paperwork and records.</li>
<li>Work on Electronic troubleshooting, Pneumatic, P.L.C. programming, electronic hardware interfacing</li>
<li>Effective analysis and elimination of recurring equipment problems.</li>
<li>Assist ME’s in investigating and implementing new production methods.</li>
<li>Communicates any concerns about work process regarding environmental impact, health, or safety issues to their manager.</li>
<li>Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.   </li>
</ul>
<h3>Skills Required:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Min of 1 years’ experience in a relevant industry</li>
<li>Mechanical competency but also some knowledge of electrical would be an advantage.</li>
<li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record.</li>
<li>Proven ability to work well both as part of a team but also able to work on own with minimum supervision.</li>
<li>Microsoft office proficient – ability to analyze data in excel and draw logical conclusions.</li>
<li>Strong Communication skills</li>
</ul>
<h3>Education / Licenses / Certifications:</h3>
<ul>
<li>NFQ Level 6 certification in either mechanical or electrical engineering or relevant discipline</li>
