LotusWorks is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, integral to our people-first approach. </p></div><p>Working with Lotusworks as part of Core Team (night shfit) to respond to equipment, yield and process related issues, implement corrective and preventative actions to eliminate repeat instances.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Work with Manufacturing Engineers in developing, trouble shooting, standardising and improving existing production methods and procedures.</li>
<li>Design, specify, manufacture, test and document production equipment, changes and improvements.</li>
<li>Interface with a variety of personnel and with outside vendors when necessary while performing the above.</li>
<li>Take responsibility for preventative maintenance procedures with an assigned process or area.</li>
<li>Assists in implementing technical improvements under the teams Continuous Improvement Program.</li>
<li>Yield Management – Ability to manage yield on an hour-by-hour basis and analyse trends and identify opportunities for improvement.</li>
<li>Problem Solving – Formal problem solving is desirable.</li>
<li>Strong mechanical problem-solving skills essential. Follow systematic root cause problem solving and troubleshooting to resolve issues.</li>
<li>Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance, completing all associated paperwork and records.</li>
<li>Effective analysis and elimination of recurring equipment problems.</li>
<li>Assist ME’s in investigating and implementing new production methods.</li>
<li>Assist ME’s in design methods, part sourcing and documentation.</li>
<li>Communicates any concerns about work process regarding environmental impact, health or safety issues to their manager.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Skills Required:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience supporting, setting up, troubleshooting and optimising injection moulding processes within a manufacturing environment.</li>
<li>Good technical capabilities, communication skills, teamwork abilities and initiative.</li>
<li>Proven ability to work well both as part of a team but also able to work on own with minimum supervision.</li>
<li>Drives continuous improvement efforts.</li>
<li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record</li>
</ul>
<h3>Education / Licenses / Certifications:</h3>
<ul>
<li>HETAC Level 6 (120 credits) qualification or higher in a STEM-related discipline. A qualification in Polymer, Polymer Processing Technology, or a related field is highly desirable.</li>
<li>Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable</li>
