Magical Beginnings Learning Centers is hiring a nurturing, dependable Infant Toddler Teacher for our licensed daycare and early education center in Kingston, Massachusetts.

👶 Age Group: Infant/Toddler (6 weeks–3 years)
🎓 Certification: EEC Infant/Toddler Certification or CDA
You'll thrive in this role if you have:

  • EEC Infant/Toddler Certification, CDA, or equivalent degree and experience (required)
  • Daycare experience in a center-based or private school setting
  • Patience, positive energy, and a love for helping young children meet and exceed their developmental goals

Some requirements of the role include:

  • Flexibility to work an 8-hour shift within the operating hours of the school, including opening and closing shifts
  • Ability to spend extended periods of time on the floor with the children
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to stand up to 90% of the workday
  • Attentiveness, strong time management, and a team-focused mindset

As an Infant Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with your co-teacher to prepare curriculum, lesson plans, materials, and monthly newsletters
  • Keeping parents informed via the Class Dojo app and classroom boards
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly classroom environment
  • Leading age-appropriate, interactive activities that encourage participation
  • Opening and closing the classroom, including cleaning toys, tables, floors, and bathrooms, emptying trash, sanitizing after children leave, and preparing for the next morning
  • Engaging children in free play, supervising outdoor time, and assisting with toilet training and diapering
  • Supporting meals and snacks (preparing bottles, heating lunches, cutting food, opening containers) and naptime
  • Following the daily classroom schedule
  • Tracking children's progress and completing assessments
  • Maintaining your EEC-required professional development hours and PQ registry
  • Attending monthly staff meetings
  • Building positive, trusting relationships with children and families
