About The Role

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Location:&lt;/strong&gt; Costa Rica or Peru.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Modality:&lt;/strong&gt; Remote only in Costa Rica or Peru.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;At Coforge, we are looking for a &lt;strong&gt;Frontend JavaScript Design System Engineer (#20904-20-2)&lt;/strong&gt; with the following profile.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h3&gt;Main Responsibilities&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p&gt;• Build and maintain reusable, scalable UI components and modules using TypeScript/JavaScript and component-based frameworks.&lt;br&gt;• Develop schema-driven frontend solutions capable of dynamically rendering content through configuration-based architectures.&lt;br&gt;• Translate UX/UI designs into pixel-perfect, responsive, and cross-browser compatible interfaces.&lt;br&gt;• Integrate components across multiple architectural layers, including schemas, data pipelines, runtime rendering, and CMS platforms.&lt;br&gt;• Develop automated unit, integration, and regression tests to ensure component quality and stability.&lt;br&gt;• Ensure adherence to design system standards, performance requirements, and frontend best practices.&lt;br&gt;• Optimize component maintainability, scalability, and long-term stability.&lt;br&gt;• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver consistent and high-quality user experiences.&lt;br&gt;• Navigate complex codebases and contribute high-quality solutions with minimal supervision.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h3&gt;Required Qualifications&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p&gt;• 7+ years of experience in frontend software engineering.&lt;br&gt;• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.&lt;br&gt;• Experience working with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, or similar component-driven frameworks.&lt;br&gt;• Ability to quickly adapt to proprietary frameworks and internal development ecosystems.&lt;br&gt;• Proven experience building schema-driven and data-driven UI components.&lt;br&gt;• Strong understanding of component architecture and reusable design patterns.&lt;br&gt;• Advanced knowledge of CSS, SCSS/Sass, Flexbox, CSS Grid, responsive design, and design token-based systems.&lt;br&gt;• Experience developing pixel-perfect user interfaces from design specifications.&lt;br&gt;• Strong experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Jasmine, Karma, or similar solutions.&lt;br&gt;• Deep understanding of DOM lifecycle, semantic HTML, browser rendering, and frontend performance optimization.&lt;br&gt;• Experience handling edge cases, dynamic content rendering, localization, and responsive behavior.&lt;br&gt;• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously in complex technical environments.&lt;br&gt;• Experience with Git and modern software development practices.&lt;br&gt;• Upper-Intermediate to Advanced English communication skills.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h3&gt;Preferred Qualifications&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p&gt;• Experience working with design systems, component libraries, or enterprise-scale frontend platforms.&lt;br&gt;• Previous exposure to Google technologies and frameworks such as Wiz, Blaze/Bazel, or related internal tooling.&lt;br&gt;• Experience building CMS-driven frontend architectures.&lt;br&gt;• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG / a11y).&lt;br&gt;• Experience with tokenized design systems.&lt;br&gt;• Familiarity with frontend performance optimization and scalability practices.&lt;br&gt;• Experience supporting large-scale web platforms serving high-traffic environments.&lt;/p&gt;
