Business Transformation Analyst

About The Role
Seeking a Business Transformation Analyst who can quickly understand business needs, coordinate across multiple stakeholders, and help drive successful integration and operational initiatives. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, organized, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving business priorities.
Key Accountabilities
- Support business integration and change initiatives across commercial, logistics, supply chain, and operational functions.
- Identify opportunities to standardize, simplify, and improve business processes.
- Document current and future-state processes and support implementation of improvements.
- Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop metrics, dashboards, reports, and leadership presentations to track performance and integration progress.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, resolve issues, and drive project execution.
- Facilitate meetings and communicate project status, risks, and recommendations.
- Maintain project plans, timelines, documentation, action items, and process materials.
- Support development of SOPs, training materials, and other change-management documentation.
Requirements
- Role will be a 1099 contract role - through to end of June 2027 with possible extension. $40 - $45 per hour depending on experience.
- Must be local to Huntington Beach, CA and be willing to be onsite at least 4 days a week. (Interview will be onsite and in person) - no relocation
- Must be authorized to work in the USA - no sponsorship available
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Operations, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, business integration, project coordination, operations, supply chain, or a related area.
- Experience supporting business transformation, integration, or change-management initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across functional teams.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, energy, mining, metals, chemicals, or a related industry.
- Knowledge of commercial operations, logistics, transportation, or supply chain processes.
- Experience with process improvement and optimization.
- Experience with SAP or another ERP system.
- Familiarity with project management and business process mapping.
