About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Product Design Engineer with deep expertise in PTC Creo Parametric to join our engineering team based out in Pune-MH.
In this role, you will lead the part creation, and detail engineering of complex hardware components. You will leverage Creo's advanced parametric and assembly modules to drive products from conceptual layouts to fully documented production-ready designs released in the Windchill system of Filtration components.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Advanced Creo Modeling: Create robust, parametrically driven 3D part models and assemblies utilizing best-in-class design methodologies.
  • Engineering Documentation: Author detailed 2D production drawings within Creo, rigorously applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5 standards. Tolerance stack-up analyses.
  • Design for Manufacturing (DFM): Leverage Creo’s analysis tools (e.g., draft analysis, thickness checks) to optimize complex components for injection molding, casting, sheet metal fabrication, and machining.
  • Data Management (PLM/PDM): Check models and assemblies in and out of a managed data environment (e.g., PTC Windchill), handling revision controls and resolving complex conflict resolutions during simultaneous multi-user engineering tracks.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Experience in design of Liquid & Air Filtration System
  • Familiarity with PTC Windchill as a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution.
  • Basic knowledge of Creo Simulate (FEA) to interpret the ALD reports.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Must have good planning skills and strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in technical organization leading small to medium team is beneficial.

Education and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience: 5+ years of professional mechanical design explicitly using PTC Creo Parametric in a commercial product development environment.
  • Creo Mastery: Expert-level mastery of Creo core features, including advanced assembly management, detailed drawing creation, and structural cabling or routing modules (if applicable).
  • GD&T Proficiency: Complete comfort reading and apply formal GD&T symbols to engineering drawings to control variation at the factory floor.
  • Materials & Processing: Strong foundational understanding of plastic injection molding, casting, and metal alloy behaviors under stress.
