About The Role
We’re looking for people to join the Access family, who share our passion for believing in better, and who will help us continue to grow.
Love Work. Love Life. Be You. - is central to our success and how we give our customers the freedom to do more of what's important to them.
What does Access offer you?
We offer a blended approach to office working, encouraging you to collaborate and connect in one of our thriving offices. We deliver on what we say, taking the development of our people seriously. We’ll work with you to progress your success plan and provide opportunities to accelerate your career.
Tradify is on a mission to transform how tradespeople run their businesses and have a positive impact on their life. We hire people with energy to build something special that will transform an industry and meaningfully impact our customers. Success for us is millions of people using Tradify across the world. We offer a dynamic high growth environment where people can learn and thrive. If you want a fast paced, action oriented and sometimes unpredictable and challenging work environment, you'll fit right in. Fundamentally we want to solve big problems and build great products that people love and can't live without. We need a new super-smart, super-passionate and super-on-to-it person to drive and deliver our product development at Tradify. Someone who wants to focus on making a massive difference in the business and daily lives of an awesome and massively underserved user base. In today's AI-augmented product environment, this means being exceptional at the things AI can't do — sharp problem framing, sound judgment, strategic thinking, and genuine customer empathy — while leveraging AI tools to dramatically increase your speed and output quality. You'll get a great understanding of what our product strategy and business objectives are, what our customers and prospective customers need, and develop detailed accurate product briefs that enable product development teams to ship great experiences that create real value to the business. You'll leverage AI to explore multiple framings of opportunities, stress-test assumptions, model trade-offs, synthesize customer feedback at scale, and communicate more effectively — all while maintaining the rigorous human judgment that separates good product decisions from great ones. Do you want to be participating in one of the fastest-growing technology companies in Australasia? Do you want a job with scope bigger than just minor enhancements with minimal impact? Not only will you be creating the briefs for product development, you'll also be working with the Product Owner and Product Marketing team to plan the rollout and launch of these features once complete. You'll be living and breathing Tradify's goals and culture on a daily basis, ensuring everyone is armed with information, support and plans for shipping an amazing product. If you thrive on being a team leader, thinking tactically to deliver on strategy, with a relentless passion for creating awesome experiences, and ultimately helping people succeed, you're going to fit right in.
In a typical day, you might do some of the following:
● Have a chat with the cycle team about some challenges they’re facing. Help the team explore different options, then make some decisions to get the squad back on track.
● Liaise with the Product Owner & BA to ensure we’re on track in terms of time and solution direction.
● Join a session with the Chief Product Officer and Product Director to strategise where we should take the product roadmap over the next few months.
● Continue researching and shaping a brief with Claude for the next cycle of work.
● Talk to some users and pull some data via MCP to find out what’s really going on with something you recently launched.
● Get together with your peers to improve the AI tool-chain we leverage to help us do our jobs.
● Craft a tailored go to market brief for our Product Marketing Manager to run with for the next big change.
What is a Cycle you say? Glad you asked!
For a lot of what we do we work in what we call Cycles, which can last for a given amount of time - like 6 weeks. Each cycle has a dedicated team to design, develop and test solutions that have been recommended to the business by Product Managers. You'll be responsible for ensuring the team understands the strategic objectives, as well as the details and considerations in your product brief.
You're going to be a great fit for this job if you:
● Have a bachelor's degree plus five years experience in product management, product design, UX design, business analysis or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
● Extensive experience designing and developing digital products or services with a strong focus on user centered design.
● Have deep fluency with AI tools and understand how to leverage them effectively while maintaining rigorous human judgment. You know when to trust AI outputs and when to override them.
● Have expertise in reaching out and understanding consumer behaviour and needs. Leverage AI to synthesize customer feedback at scale that you then verify.
● Have a great understanding of the concepts of product development, and user experience design as they relate to digital product and service design. You stay current on AI design tooling and know how to use it to increase velocity without sacrificing quality.
● Enjoy participating in a high performance team-oriented environment to deliver impactful digital solutions.
● Can serve as a subject matter expert as well as coach others in product development, business case development and product design in an AI present environment.
● Are highly organised and motivated with great attention on the bigger picture.
● Have excellent written and verbal communications skills
● Believe that tradies do important work and that supporting them to success is an awesome job.
● Want to do work that improves other people's lives, but also believe it should be fun.
