About The Role

We are looking for an SAP Analyst to join our Supply chain team. The ideal candidate should have experience with SAP MM processes and a strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, and material master data. This role will support daily business operations by ensuring efficient procurement processes, maintaining accurate master data, resolving SAP-related issues, and collaborating with business users to improve operational efficiency.
The role focuses on SAP functional support, business process execution, and continuous process improvement rather than software development.

  • Support day-to-day procurement and material management activities using SAP MM.
  • Create, maintain, and validate material master, vendor master, purchasing information records, and source lists.
  • Support the purchase requisition (PR) to purchase order (PO) process.
  • Monitor purchase orders, goods receipts (GR), invoice verification (IV), and stock movements.
  • Resolve SAP MM-related issues by working closely with business users and IT support teams.
  • Support inventory management activities, including stock transfers, inventory adjustments, cycle counting, and physical inventory processes.
  • Maintain data accuracy and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Generate, analyze, and distribute SAP reports related to procurement, inventory, and material management.
  • Assist with SAP testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system enhancements, and change requests.
  • Prepare and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and user guides.
  • Provide functional support and end-user training for SAP MM processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve procurement and inventory processes through SAP best practices.
  • Participate in SAP implementation, enhancement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical, Automobile, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Good understanding of Materials Management processes, including:
  • Procurement
  • Purchasing
  • Vendor Management
  • Inventory Management
  • Material Master Data
  • Goods Receipt and Invoice Verification
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • 3 to 5yrs of Experience in the SAP modules.
