Job Details:
The Senior Manager, Information Technology Infrastructure leads the strategy, delivery, security, reliability, and continuous improvement of the organization’s enterprise infrastructure services. This role manages infrastructure operations across cloud and on-premises environments, including compute, storage, customer-facing hosting platforms, data centers, backup and recovery, and end-user technology services. The Senior Manager partners with business and technology leaders to translate organizational needs into scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions while developing a high-performing technical team and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure strategy: Develop and execute a multi-year infrastructure roadmap aligned with business priorities, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity requirements, and financial objectives.
  • Service ownership: Ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and supportability of cloud, network, server, storage, identity, collaboration, backup, disaster recovery, and endpoint services.
  • Operational excellence: Establish service-level objectives, operational metrics, monitoring, incident response, problem management, change management, capacity planning, patching, lifecycle management, and continuous-improvement practices.
  • Cybersecurity and compliance: Partner with information security, risk, privacy, and compliance teams to implement required controls, remediate vulnerabilities, support audits, and maintain secure configurations.
  • Cloud and modernization: Lead cloud adoption, automation, standardization, technical-debt reduction, and modernization initiatives while optimizing performance, resilience, and cost.
  • Business continuity: Maintain tested backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity capabilities; define recovery objectives and coordinate exercises and remediation activities.
  • People leadership: Hire, coach, develop, and retain infrastructure professionals; establish clear objectives, accountability, succession plans, and development opportunities.
  • Financial and vendor management: Own budgets, forecasts, licensing, asset lifecycle plans, contracts, sourcing activities, and supplier performance; identify opportunities to improve value and reduce total cost of ownership.
  • Stakeholder partnership: Communicate service health, risks, priorities, and investment needs to technical and nontechnical leaders; collaborate across applications, security, data, facilities, and business functions.
  • Governance and documentation: Maintain standards, procedures, architecture documentation, support models, inventories, and decision records that enable reliable and repeatable service delivery.
  • Escalation leadership: Provide executive-level coordination during critical incidents, ensure timely communications, and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft, AWS, Veeam, Linux, PDQ or VMware.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or comparable cloud platforms and hybrid infrastructure.
  • Experience supporting regulated & controlled environments (life sciences, healthcare).
  • 10 + years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments., operations, engineering, or service delivery,
  • 5+ years in a people-management role. Talent development and team leadership
  • Strong knowledge of networking, compute, storage, virtualization, identity and access management, enterprise collaboration, backup and recovery, monitoring, endpoint management, and infrastructure automation.
  • Experience leading IT service management and infrastructure operations and complex infrastructure transformations.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, contracts & external providers.

Additional Requirements:

  • May require participation in an on-call escalation rotation and availability outside normal business hours for critical incidents or planned maintenance.
  • Periodic travel may be required to company sites, data centers, or supplier locations.
  • Works in a hybrid office and remote environment, subject to organizational policy and business needs.

Pay Transparency:
The pay range for this role is:
$124,300.00-$211,700.00/Annual
The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account, without limitation, the candidate’s location, education, job-knowledge, skills, and experience in prior relevant roles.
Incentives may also be provided as part of Haemonetics’ employee compensation. For sales roles, employees will be eligible for sales incentive (i.e., commission) under the applicable plan terms. For non-sales roles, employees will be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, the target amount of which varies based on the applicable role, to be governed by the applicable plan terms. Employees may also be eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive plan, with eligibility and target amount dependent on the role.
In addition to compensation, the Company offers a competitive suite of benefits to its employees, including without limitation, a 401(k) with up to a 6% employer match and no vesting period, an employee stock purchase plan, “flexible time off” for salaried employees and, for hourly employees, accrual of three to five weeks’ vacation annually (based on tenure), accrual of up to 64 hours (annually) of paid sick time, paid and/or floating holidays, parental leave, short- and long-term disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, and/or health and welfare benefits.
