About the role

We're growing 13x YoY. Growing that fast only works if we know exactly which number we're growing toward, and why. That's what this role is for.
We already work with external accountants in Germany and the US. They handle the books and tax filings. What we're missing is someone to clean up the processes and systems around them, so the numbers are reliable and we always know where we stand.
Working closely with the Head of Operations, you'll fix how finance runs day to day: reconciliation across our bank and payment accounts, a clear cash view, and one combined view of the German and US entities. You'll also help set financial targets for the whole company and own revenue, expenses, and payroll. You'll be the person everyone trusts to say clearly where we stand, what's needed to close the gap, and what has to happen next.

What you'll do

Clean up our processes and systems. Fix how finance runs so the numbers are accurate and up to date, and so our team can run it after you leave. Set up reconciliation across our bank and payment accounts. Build a clear cash view. Give us one combined view of the German and US entities.
Set up revenue operations. Build the process for revenue operations end to end, from invoicing and billing to reconciliation and reporting, so the data is accurate and the team can keep it that way.
Set up expenses and payroll. Build the process for company expenses and salary payouts, so everyone gets paid accurately and on time, and spending stays tracked and controlled.
Set up a clean handover to our external accountants. We use external accountants in Germany and the US. Put a process in place that gives them clean data on schedule, and makes it easy for the team to check their work.
Build the tracking behind our financial targets. The Head of Operations owns the targets, you build the reporting that tracks performance against them.
Once the processes are solid and the team owns them, you move into a monthly cadence: the monthly reconciliation, working with our US and German accountants to keep our accounting in good shape.
Who we're looking for

3+ years in finance or accounting, ideally at a startup. You've set up and improved financial processes from scratch, not just run one-off tasks.

AI Native.

Comfortable with revenue operations end to end.

Knows accounting across the US and Germany, including the German accounting and tax system.

Strong grasp of P&L and balance sheet fundamentals.

Highly organized and accurate. You're trusted with sensitive financial data and catch errors before they become problems.

Moves fast and communicates proactively. Your teammates always know where things stand.
