About The Role

The Role
We're looking for a curious, highly reliable Data Collection Technician to join our team and help us run high-quality data collection sessions in our labs.
This is a hands-on role. You'll work directly with participants, operate our data collection equipment, keep sessions running smoothly, and solve problems as they come up. You'll be an important part of the day-to-day operation of our labs and will work closely with engineers, researchers, and the broader operations team.
We're looking for someone who takes ownership, moves quickly, pays attention to the details, and is excited to learn. You don't need to have every skill on day one. We're much more interested in someone who is capable, resourceful, and has the potential to grow with us.
Shifts run in blocks throughout the day between 4am–12am, and your assigned schedule may vary week to week based on study needs.

Run data collection sessions with participants and ensure each session is completed accurately and on time.

-
Highly reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
-
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
-
Comfortable learning new technology and following detailed protocols.
-
Clear communicator who takes initiative and ownership.
-
Schedule flexibility required: Must be available to work early morning and late evening shifts, with weekend availability as needed.
Nice to Haves
-
Experience with EEG or other physiological data collection equipment.
-
Experience in research, lab operations, healthcare, hospitality, or customer service.
-
Experience managing participant recruitment or communications.
Compensation
-
Hourly rate commensurate with experience: $25/hour
-
Eligible for overtime pay: 1.5x your regular rate for hours worked over 8 in a single workday or over 40 in a single workweek.
-
12.5 days (100 hours) PTO annually.
-
Eligible for participation in Constellation's 401k retirement plan.
