CDL Class A Driver– Highway Construction

<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">We’re looking for a CDL Class A Driver to transport trucks, equipment, and materials to guardrail installation projects. This is a hands-on construction role that combines commercial driving with supporting the crew on the jobsite.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">You’ll report to our Colorado Springs location each Monday and travel with the crew for the workweek. Candidates must live within commuting distance and be prepared to stay out of town Monday through Friday.</span></p>
<h2><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Responsibilities</span></h2>
<ul>

<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Safely drive company trucks and transport equipment and materials to and from jobsites.</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Load, unload, and properly secure equipment and materials.</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Maintain required driving and inspection records.</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Follow applicable DOT requirements and company safety procedures.</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Assist the crew with guardrail layout, setup, and installation.</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Use hand and power tools and assist with manual digging and other physical tasks as needed.</span></p>

<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Work closely with the foreman and crew to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.</span></p>

<h2><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Qualifications</span></h2>
<ul>

<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Valid Class A CDL.</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">At least two years of commercial driving experience.</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience securing and transporting equipment or construction materials.</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Willingness to perform physical construction work in addition to driving.</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ability to commute to the Colorado Springs location and travel overnight Monday through Friday.</span></p>
</li>

<h2><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Preferred Experience</span></h2>
<ul>

<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Heavy equipment operation.</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Guardrail installation or heavy highway construction.</span></p>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 10pt;">
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Basic mechanical knowledge, including hydraulic or pneumatic equipment.</span></p>
