About the Role
The Ecommerce Operational Analyst is responsible for ensuring the seamless day-to-day operation of HARMAN's direct-to-consumer ecommerce platforms across the North Latin America region. This role owns the operational health of the websites, ensuring that customers experience a reliable and frictionless purchase journey from product availability through order fulfillment and post-purchase support. The analyst works closely with global, regional, and cross-functional teams to optimize site performance, manage operational processes, support platform enhancements, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Will Do
· Manage the day-to-day operations of HARMAN’s ecommerce websites, ensuring optimal site functionality, stability, and customer experience.
· Monitor the end-to-end order lifecycle, ensuring accurate order processing, fulfillment, shipping, invoicing, returns, and issue resolution.
· Own demand forecasting and product availability planning, partnering with merchandising and supply chain teams to maintain healthy inventory levels and maximize sales opportunities.
· Coordinate and support website enhancements, platform updates, testing, and implementation of new features in collaboration with global ecommerce and IT teams.
· Conduct regular site audits and performance analysis, identifying opportunities to improve conversion, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
· Monitor key ecommerce KPIs, develop operational reports, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
· Serve as the primary point of coordination between Ecommerce, IT, Merchandising, Customer Service, Logistics, and external partners to ensure timely resolution of operational issues and successful project execution.
· Support promotional campaigns, product launches, and seasonal events by ensuring operational readiness, catalog accuracy, pricing integrity, and inventory availability.
· Drive process improvements, documentation, and automation initiatives to enhance scalability, efficiency, and overall ecommerce performance.
What You Need to Be Successful
· A thorough understanding of ecommerce operations, including order management, inventory planning, fulfillment processes, and customer experience.
· 2-4 years of experience in ecommerce operations, digital commerce, business analysis, or related field.
· Demonstrable knowledge of ecommerce platforms, web merchandising, inventory forecasting, website QA, and digital analytics tools.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, reporting and dashboard development, data analysis, and performance monitoring.
· Well-versed in cross-functional collaboration with IT, merchandising, logistics, customer service, and supply chain teams to drive operational excellence.
· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Experience identifying operational issues, driving process improvements, and implementing scalable solutions to improve site performance and customer satisfaction.
Bonus Points if You Have
· Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware), SAP, PIM, DAM, Google Analytics (GA4), or similar ecommerce technologies.
· Experience supporting direct-to-consumer (DTC) ecommerce businesses and omnichannel retail operations.
· Experience working with global teams and coordinating cross-regional ecommerce initiatives.
· Knowledge of ecommerce best practices related to UX, SEO, site merchandising, online payments, and fraud management.
· Experience supporting product launches, promotional campaigns, and peak sales events.
· Certification in Google Analytics, Project Management, Agile methodologies, or Ecommerce/Digital Marketing disciplines.
What Makes You Eligible
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
· Fluent in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Eligible to work in the country where the position is based.
· Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time, if required.
· Ability to work effectively with global stakeholders across multiple time zones.
· Comfortable working in a hybrid and highly collaborative environment.
· Flexibility to support critical ecommerce operations, website launches, and business incidents outside standard working hours when necessary.
· Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
