Job Description:
Our Professional Services team partners closely with customers to deliver complex, business-critical deployment and installation projects. Working in a fast-paced, technology-led environment, we focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences through strong project governance, collaboration and operational excellence.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our growing Professional Services organisation. This customer-facing role focuses on managing the deployment and installation of our solutions, coordinating customer stakeholders and internal delivery teams from project initiation through to completion. The role is dedicated to customer delivery, rather than internal business projects.
Technical understanding is essential, particularly in cyber security or networking. You will need to engage confidently with customer technical teams, understand deployment requirements and dependencies, and translate technical considerations into clear project plans. Experience managing cyber security or networking deployments is particularly relevant.
You will help strengthen customer project delivery standards, share best practices and improve how we manage deployment and installation projects.
What Will I Be Doing?
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead complex customer deployment and installation projects throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery against agreed timelines, budgets, scope and customer objectives while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement and governance standards.
In this role, you will:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of customer deployment and installation projects, developing project plans and managing schedules, resources, budgets and cross-functional dependencies while ensuring compliance with governance requirements and lifecycle gates.
  • Work closely with customer technical teams and internal delivery specialists to understand customer environments, installation prerequisites and technical dependencies, incorporating these into project planning and delivery.
  • Manage project risks, issues, scope, financials and change requests, proactively implementing mitigation strategies to support successful customer outcomes.
  • Use your technical understanding to identify deployment risks, facilitate technical discussions and coordinate the resolution of issues with the appropriate specialists.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers and internal delivery teams through executive reporting, project dashboards and regular status updates, ensuring alignment across customer, business and technical stakeholders.
  • Define and measure project success against agreed customer objectives and key performance indicators, using data to inform decisions and assess delivery performance.
  • Support collaborative project teams by coordinating activities, resolving delivery challenges and maintaining positive customer and stakeholder relationships.
  • Continuously improve customer deployment and installation delivery by refining project methodologies, sharing lessons learned and supporting consistent project management practices within Professional Services.

What Do I Need?
We are looking for someone who combines strong project delivery experience with technical understanding of cyber security or networking, alongside effective communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

  • 5+ years of project management experience, ideally within Professional Services, SaaS, cyber security or another technology-focused environment.
  • Proven experience delivering complex customer-facing deployment or installation projects involving cross-functional teams, multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • A sound understanding of cyber security or networking concepts, gained through technical experience or managing relevant deployments, with the ability to understand how customer environments affect installation and delivery.
  • Confidence discussing technical requirements, dependencies and risks with customer IT, networking or security teams and internal technical specialists.
  • Strong expertise in project governance, risk management, budgeting, forecasting, resource planning and project controls.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior customer and internal delivery stakeholders, maintaining alignment and accountability throughout delivery.
  • Strong communication, leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to explain technical delivery considerations clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience improving customer project delivery processes and embedding project management best practices.
