About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist with a strong background in personnel administration, payroll coordination, and employee relations to support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources function and serve as the local liaison with the HR department of the company's international group.
Reporting directly to the Finance & Human Resources Director, this role is highly operational in nature and offers a high degree of autonomy in managing core HR administration processes.
The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact between employees, management, external payroll and labor advisors, and the corporate HR team within an international and growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll & Personnel Administration

  • Review monthly payroll data, ensuring accuracy of salary components, variable compensation, payroll adjustments, deductions, social security contributions, absences, vacations, and other payroll-related items.
  • Coordinate closely with the external payroll provider, ensuring all relevant information is submitted accurately and on time.
  • Prepare and review employment contracts, contract amendments, and employment-related documentation.
  • Coordinate employee registrations, terminations, and status changes with external labor advisors and relevant authorities.
  • Support and administer employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Coordinate voluntary resignations, contract terminations, dismissals, severance payments, and settlement documentation in collaboration with external advisors and management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and HR records.
  • Monitor employee vacations, absences, and working time calendars.

Employee Relations & Labor Compliance

  • Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding payroll, employment contracts, benefits, labor regulations, leave entitlements, absences, sick leave, and other employment-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, collective bargaining agreements, and HR policies.
  • Manage and monitor employee leave processes, including sick leave, parental leave, unpaid leave, part-time arrangements, and other employment situations.
  • Coordinate with external labor and legal advisors on matters related to employment contracts, disciplinary actions, labor relations, and employment terminations.

Reporting & HR Operations

  • Prepare HR reports and provide workforce-related information, including headcount, employee movements, labor costs, and HR metrics.
  • Support the Finance & HR Director in improving and maintaining HR processes and procedures.
  • Assist with HR-related audits and compliance requirements as needed.

International HR Coordination

  • Serve as the local HR contact for the international corporate HR team.
  • Support the implementation of corporate HR policies, procedures, and initiatives at the local level.
  • Prepare and provide regular HR information and reports to the international group, including workforce data, employee movements, labor costs, and key HR indicators.
  • Participate in meetings and ongoing collaboration with international HR stakeholders.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.

Experience

  • Proven experience in HR Administration, Payroll, Personnel Administration, or Employee Relations roles.
  • Strong practical knowledge of payroll processes, employment legislation, social security administration, and labor regulations.
  • Experience working with external payroll providers, labor consultants, or HR service providers.
  • Previous experience within an international or multinational environment is considered an advantage.
  • Experience using HR information systems (HRIS) is desirable.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office applications.
  • Ability to prepare reports, analyze workforce data, and manage HR documentation efficiently.

Language Skills

  • Fluent English (written and spoken) with the ability to participate in meetings, prepare documentation, and communicate regularly with international stakeholders.
  • Additional local language skills are considered an asset.
