Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records through journal entry preparation and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of external and internal audits.
- Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payments for accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and address financial inquiries.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing relevant financial data and insights.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
