In this role, you will design Medicare or Medicaid data analyses and translate complex results into understandable and actionable findings. <h2>What You’ll Do</h2>

<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Conduct and help design advanced analyses (descriptive, evaluative, and financial) using Medicare and Medicaid administrative data, research files, and public data files.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Draft analysis plans for programmers to implement.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Perform quality-control reviews of R and SAS programming for data analyses, including statistical analyses of complex survey data or analyses of large claims data files.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Create financial models in Excel or R related to healthcare, policy, and business outcomes.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":0}"> </span></li>

<h2>What We're Looking For</h2>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Minimum 2 years of professional experience analyzing and helping to design analyses of complex Medicare or Medicaid datasets (claims, encounters, public use files, surveys) in healthcare policy or economics.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Professional experience and advanced proficiency in R and Excel analysis.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Experience writing and visualizing research results, and the ability to translate complex ideas and findings into relevant insights for an intended audience, visually, verbally, and in writing.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">A graduate degree in economics, public policy, public health, epidemiology, statistics, mathematics, or another related field, or an undergraduate degree with equivalent work experience.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Experience and ability to prioritize multiple high-priority, complex tasks with competing deadlines.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Strong attention to detail, including the ability to work efficiently to produce accurate, high-quality deliverables.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">High level of initiative, quick learning ability, and resourcefulness, with the ability to solve problems independently, pivot quickly based on client needs, and work with incomplete information.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Ability to support teams' project work while raising risks, questions, and options to appropriate team members.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
