The Role
CAA is seeking an Assistant to work on our Strategic Development team for Executives who focus on emerging technologies, high-growth divisions within the Creator Economy, and forward-looking business initiatives across the Agency. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, is highly analytical, and has a strong interest in the convergence of entertainment, technology, and business strategy. This role is hybrid and based in the Los Angeles office.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to two executives, including answering multiple phone lines, calendar management, booking travel, filing expenses, etc.
- Assist with the preparation and coordination of presentations, pitch materials, and internal/external communications.
- This desk does not involve reading scripts but sometimes involves dealing directly with talent (Creators, in particular).
- Most of this desk’s focus is on strategy, new business initiatives, and may interact with investing and venture; discretion is required in coordinating with senior leadership.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to business development initiatives.
Qualifications
- BA/BS from an accredited University or College
- 1+ years of relevant administrative assistant experience
- A strong interest in AI, innovation, the Creator Economy strategy, and investment analysis is highly desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Internet research
- Must possess strong organizational and communication skills
- Must possess the ability to pay close attention to detail. Meticulous attention to detail is critical
- Must have the ability to meet deadlines and able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong follow-up and project management skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented department
- Must be resourceful and possess good judgment
- Ability to properly and discreetly handle sensitive and confidential information
- Prior agency experience is a plus
Location
This is a hybrid role out of our Los Angeles office.
Compensation
The hourly range for this position is as follows:
Los Angeles, CA - $22.00 - $26.00. This position is also eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in the role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
