About The Role

  • Prepare conceptual and basic engineering documentation, and issue RFQ/PO Technical Specification Documents for third-party equipment and in-house KVI products.
  • Lead technical negotiations with suppliers, support the System Procurement Manager in shortlisting and award decisions, and take part in lot kick-off meetings.
  • Supervise and expedite suppliers' engineering progress, review and release supplier documents on schedule, and carry out FIW/FAT at supplier premises.
  • Coordinate interfaces with other disciplines and third parties (client, consortium partners), manage design freezes and design change requests, and keep engineering lists and BOQs complete and accurate.
  • Support the Engineering Manager with technical queries, claims, non-conformities and construction/commissioning issues, and keep template documentation up to date.
  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with solid process, product and plant knowledge.
  • Project execution experience in an EPC environment: under 3 years for Junior, over 3 years for Mechanical Engineer, and at least 5 years for Senior. Construction or commissioning experience is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders. You are fluent in written and spoken English, and other languages are welcome.
  • A problem-solving mindset, with familiarity in root cause analysis methods, and an understanding of technical cost drivers and relevant standards and codes.
  • Experience with engineering databases, document management systems or 3D tools, good MS Office skills, and willingness to travel to suppliers or site up to 10% of the time.

Compensation
Basic wage component (gross): 2200 EUR/month
This amount is our minimum offered salary. Compensation is determined based on your level, skills, experience, and qualifications.
