Lead/Senior Exterior Designer

<p>AVATR Global Design Center is seeking a <strong>Lead/Senior Exterior Designer (f/m/d)</strong> for our premium SEV brand. As part of our international AVATR Design Team in Munich, you will contribute to forward-looking design work in a collaborative environment based on mutual respect and trust. </p>
<p><strong>What you will do:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Serve as the principal creative contributor for exterior design on key vehicle programs, driving the development of innovative, brand-defining concepts.</li>
<li>Translate design strategy into bold and refined exterior proposals that reflect future vision and market relevance.</li>
<li>Create compelling 2D sketches and 3D digital models to communicate design intent throughout concept and production stages.</li>
<li>Take full design ownership of assigned programs, ensuring high-quality execution and alignment with brand DNA.</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with modeling, engineering, and program teams to resolve design challenges and maintain feasibility without compromising aesthetics.</li>
<li>Present design concepts and development progress to senior management and key stakeholders with clarity and strong visual storytelling.</li>
<li>Contribute to the creative culture of the Design studio by setting a high standard of design quality and innovation.</li>
<li>Contribute to the continuous evolution of our brand’s design language and strategy, translating broader design vision into distinctive and coherent exterior design directions.</li>
<li>Develop compelling presentations and help bring the overall project together, maintaining a strong global view and effectively communicating the bigger picture.</li>
<li>Support and mentor junior designers throughout the creative process, while contributing to the team through individual design work and creative direction.</li>

<p><strong>What you will bring:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Extensive experience in automotive exterior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing concept and production work.</li>
<li>Excellent 2D sketching and 3D modeling skills using industry-standard tools (e.g., Photoshop, Alias, Blender, VRED).</li>
<li>Deep understanding of form, proportion, surface quality, and vehicle architecture.</li>
<li>Strong ability to independently own and drive complex design programs.</li>
<li>Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced development environment.</li>
<li>Degree in Transportation Design, Industrial Design, or related field.</li>
