Occupational Therapist – Community

<p>Liquid Personnel are recruiting for its client for a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join the Community Occupational Therapy Team in Ceredigion.</p>
<p>The role involves managing complex adult and older adult caseloads, with a focus on specialist equipment, adaptations, manual handling and promoting independence.<span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":0,"335559739":0}"> </span></p>

<ul>
<li>Manage a varied and complex community OT caseload.</li>
<li>Complete assessments and provide specialist OT interventions.</li>
<li>Assess for equipment and housing adaptations.</li>
<li>Complete manual handling risk assessments and develop handling plans.</li>
<li>Provide advice and support to service users, families and carers.</li>
<li>Supervise and delegate to OT Assistants and students.</li>
<li>Work with health, social care and other agencies.</li>

<li>Occupational Therapy degree/diploma.</li>
<li>Current HCPC registration.</li>
<li>Post-graduate community OT experience.</li>
<li>Experience managing complex caseloads.</li>
<li>Strong experience with adaptations, equipment and manual handling.</li>
<li>Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.</li>
<li>Experience with delegation and supervision.</li>
<li>Full driving licence and ability to travel across the county.</li>
<li>Ability to work in the county a minimum of 4 days per week.</li>
<li>Enhanced DBS required. </li>
