Production Planner (Project Fremont)

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure Production line is loaded with enough WIP for continuous flow of activities.
Closely work with Purchasing or Material Planner on the material delivery and ensure customer commits are aligned with any changes on the delivery
Collaborate and communicate with Engineering, QA, and Production for alignment and addressing the issues/concerns
Inform the customers both internal and external for any changes of delivery/shipment commit
Inform/updates the PPIC manager / leader on the critical issues and help needed that will jeopardize our commit to customer
Education & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or its equivalents with at least 2 years of relevant work experience in Planning (functional skills)

Skills

• Knowledge in Oracle and Power BI is an advantage
• Knowledge in Microsoft (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc.)
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving
• Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
• With initiative and eager to learn
