About The Role

<p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Respond to the immediate needs of production or the customer by troubleshooting and assisting with problem-solving and quality concern resolution (5-whys; Cause/effect diagrams; etc.). Document problem resolutions and corrective actions.</li>
<li>Coordinate customer inspections and facilitate testing and certification of orders as required for customer orders.</li>
<li>Perform or coordinate validation of controlled processes, such as welding, soldering, painting, etc. This would include cross-sectioning of welds and solders, testing the adhesion of paint, and monitoring in-process inspections in Production.</li>
<li>Assist in accomplishing in-process, final, and vendor inspection tasks as required, including inspection of the product, including use of the CMM and Niton Analyzer.</li>
<li>Coordinate or perform calibration of in-house test equipment, such as the CMM, Niton Analyzer, and test benches. Support the Quality Coordinator with the calibration of gauging.</li>
<li>Monitor and help control scrap; including pareto and corrective action analysis.</li>
<li>Revise and maintain process documentation to support quality improvement, such as test forms, work instructions, and procedures.</li>
<li>Measure and analyze key quality performance data; make recommendations on specific opportunities to improve quality.</li>
<li>Facilitate resolution and communication of internal problems identified through LifeLines (Corrective Action system). </li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What you need:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Associates Degree in Technical field.</li>
<li>AND two years related experience</li>
<li>OR equivalent combination of education and experience. </li>
