Data Analyst

Job Description – Data Analyst Position Overview
We are looking for a Data Analyst to collect, analyze, and interpret data to support business and operational decision-making. The role involves working with large datasets, developing dashboards and reports, and translating data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret structured and unstructured data to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Perform data cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Define and track KPIs and metrics to support business performance analysis.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Support data-driven process improvements and ad-hoc analytical requests.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data manipulation.
• Experience with Excel and BI/visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working with relational databases and large datasets.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python for data analysis and automation.
• Knowledge of ETL/data pipelines and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Exposure to statistical analysis, forecasting, or machine learning concepts.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
