<p><strong>The Opportunity:</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate <strong>Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA)</strong>. This role is integral in supporting both patients and providers, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and compassionate care.</p>
<p><strong>Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Prepare and stock exam rooms to ensure readiness for patient care</li>
<li>Room patients, check vital signs, and assess patient needs to communicate effectively with providers</li>
<li>Assist providers with procedures and patient care as needed</li>
<li>Administer injections, perform EKGs, and coordinate referrals</li>
<li>Triage patient phone calls, review test results, manage pharmacy calls, and review medications</li>
<li>Complete patient documentation accurately and in a timely manner within the <strong>Electronic Health Record (EHR)</strong></li>
<li>Perform point-of-care lab testing, prepare specimens, and maintain compliance with <strong>CLIA standards</strong></li>
<li>Communicate effectively with patients, families, coworkers, and external partners to support patient care and outcomes</li>
<li>Ensure adherence to clinical standards including <strong>OSHA, CLIA, ADA, and VFC program requirements</strong></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Certified (CMA) or Registered (RMA) Medical Assistant</strong></li>
<li>Graduate of an accredited <strong>ABHES or CAAHEP Medical Assistant program</strong></li>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li>
<li><strong>American Heart Association BLS certification</strong> required</li>
<li>Knowledge of standard clinical, lab, and medical procedures</li>
<li>Computer literacy and accurate data entry skills required</li>
<li>Familiarity with <strong>VFC, CHIRP, and VOMS systems</strong> strongly preferred</li>
<li>Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred</li>
