About The Role

The Muma College of Business leverages analytics and critical thinking to advance student success, produce scholarships with impact, and generate innovation in partnership with its stakeholders. It serves more than 8,700 students on USF’s Tampa and St. Petersburg campuses across seven schools. Its vision is to be a top business school recognized for the transformative solutions produced by its scholars and graduates who lead in business and society. The USF Nault Center for Entrepreneurship is a nationally ranked, multidisciplinary center within the college that serves the entire university and lead education and research to support aspiring and current entrepreneurs.
Special Requirements:
Works well in a fast-paced environment, often requires extended hours for evening events.

Responsibilities:

Develop and coordinate content for marketing materials that promote, publicize, and provide information about programs, events, services, etc., for the Center to audiences throughout the university, region and state. Develop and execute cross-media integrated marketing campaigns for educational programs, events, pitch competitions, advisory board meetings and other activities. Plan, create and evaluate innovative social media campaigns using organic and paid strategies to increase interest and engagement in USF entrepreneurship programs and expand USF’s reach nationally. Oversee production of materials and select vendors as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the position to support department mission and goals.
Minimum:
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, public relations, digital media, or related field, with two years of experience in related positions; or a master’s degree in the fields listed above.
Preferred:
Experience working in higher education; effective and efficient communicator (written and verbal); proficient experience working with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) as a marketing tool, Adobe Creative Cloud, project management, email marketing, internal communications, and photography and videography.
Degree Equivalency Clause: Four years of direct experience for a bachelor’s degree.

  • (a) Two years of direct experience for an associate degree;
  • (b) Four years of direct experience for a bachelor’s degree;
  • (c) Six years of direct experience for a master’s degree;
  • (d) Seven years of direct experience for a professional degree; or
  • (e) Nine years of direct experience for a doctoral degree
  • Related work experience may not substitute for any required licensure, certification, or registration required for the position of employment as established by the public employer and indicated in the advertised description of the position of employment.
  • Minimum Qualifications that require a high school diploma are exempt from SB 1310.
