About The Role
Allegheny College seeks an Assistant Professor of Psychology at its campus in Meadville, PA, responsible for teaching undergraduate Psychology courses within the Department.
Specific duties of include: (i) assisting with course revisions and curriculum development; (ii) advising, guiding, and mentoring students within the Department, utilizing sound pedagogical practices; (iii) serving the College by attending commencements and convocations; and (iv) participating in ongoing professional development and engaging in scholarly pursuits in the field, including engaging in clinical psychology research, specifically with respect to outpatient counseling, behavior consultation services, psychological evaluations, clinical case documentation, and drafting research reports based on clinical findings.
Must possess a graduate degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a directly related academic
discipline.
