About The Role

See what you can do with Prophix
At Prophix, we’re building the platform that helps finance teams stop managing spreadsheets and start driving strategy. Prophix One™ brings planning, reporting, consolidation, and automation together in a single place, and we are expanding its AI capabilities faster than ever. If you want to work on a product that genuinely changes how finance teams operate, and do it alongside people who care about getting it right, this is where you want to be.
We’re headquartered in the Greater Toronto Area, with teams and offices across North America, Europe, and Australia. Trusted by more than 3,000 finance teams across 100+ countries, Prophix One™ is built for organizations that want to plan smarter and move faster.
As Manager, Professional Services, you'll lead a team of Consultants and Solution Architects delivering Prophix One implementations for finance teams across North America, balancing hands-on coaching with oversight of project timelines, quality, and client outcomes. You'll join the Professional Services organization within Prophix's broader Customer Success function, working closely with Sales and Delivery leadership to keep engagements on track and clients successfully live on the platform. Your team's execution directly shapes retention and expansion (GRR/NRR) for the accounts you support. This is a hybrid role based in the Greater Toronto Area.

What You Will Do

Delivery Management & Implementation Health

  • Own end-to-end delivery health across a portfolio of Prophix One CPM/FP&A implementation and migration engagements across North America — not just schedule adherence, but whether each engagement is on a trajectory to produce a renewable, referenceable customer.
  • Know when to escalate and when not to: distinguish normal implementation friction from early warning signs of scope creep, stakeholder disengagement, or risk to go-live — and raise the right issue to the right person before it becomes a renewal problem.
  • Hold the team accountable to delivery best practices and methodology — not as a compliance checkbox, but as the mechanism that prevents the predictable failure modes (unclear success criteria, weak CS handoff, slipping hypercare exit) that lead to mid-term churn.
  • Actively watch for and intervene on churn risk during delivery — disengaged sponsors, missed milestones, shifting business priorities — and own the corrective action, not just the flag.
  • Keep stakeholders current through both written and verbal updates — concise, data-forward status to clients and to internal leadership (PS, Sales, CS) that reflects real engagement health, not just RAG status on a tracker.
  • Maintain accurate, current data in delivery and reporting tools so portfolio health, capacity, and forecast are trustworthy at a glance — reporting hygiene is a delivery responsibility, not an afterthought.
  • Surface expansion opportunity uncovered during delivery (new use cases, adjacent pain points, underused modules) and route it to Sales/CS with enough context to act on it.
  • Close the feedback loop on scoping: when delivery reveals that an engagement was under-scoped, mis-estimated, or missing key assumptions, proactively flag it to your manager and to Sales so the pattern gets corrected upstream — not just absorbed as delivery pain on this one project.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for engagement risk, scope challenges, and client issues, bringing judgment on severity and the right next move, not just visibility.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Solutions Architects to ensure engagements are scoped, resourced, and executed to plan, and to close out projects as quickly as quality allows.
  • Contribute to delivery methodology, tooling, and process improvement across the NA PS organization — particularly where recurring issues point to a gap in the playbook.

People Management

  • Hire, onboard, develop, and retain a team of Professional Services consultants across North America.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development conversations.
  • Coach the team on judgment, not just mechanics — when to escalate, how to read a stakeholder relationship, how to have the hard conversation early rather than late.
  • Provide hands-on coaching on delivery quality, client communication, and technical problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with the PS leadership team on capacity planning, resource allocation, and cross-regional alignment.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build trusted advisor relationships with key NA client stakeholders, including CFOs, controllers, and FP&A leaders.
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Support to ensure seamless handoffs and a cohesive client experience across the NA market.
  • Represent PS in pre-sales conversations where delivery credibility and scoping input are required — including flagging scoping risk before a deal closes, based on patterns seen in delivery.

What You Will Bring
We hire for potential as much as experience. If this role excites you but you don’t check every box, we still want to hear from you. At Prophix, people who ask good questions, adapt quickly, and bring a fresh perspective often make the biggest impact.
Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years in a Professional Services or implementation delivery role within a SaaS or enterprise software environment.
  • 3+ years managing or leading a team, with demonstrated ability to develop people and drive performance.
  • Proven track record delivering complex, multi-stakeholder software implementations on time, within scope, and in a state that supports renewal.
  • Sound judgment on risk and escalation — able to distinguish normal delivery friction from a genuine threat to timeline, quality, or the client relationship, and to act on it early.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — able to translate complex delivery situations into clear, concise updates for clients, consultants, and senior leadership.
  • Self-starter with a high degree of ownership — comfortable setting direction, identifying what needs to be done without being told, and driving initiatives through to completion in a fast-moving environment.
  • Comfortable operating in structured planning tools (e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet, monday.com, or similar) as a means of keeping reporting and forecasting accurate — not as the primary skill of the role.
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve team productivity, streamline processes, or enhance delivery quality; comfortable embedding AI-assisted workflows into day-to-day operations.
  • Experience working with finance teams and familiarity with FP&A, budgeting, or consolidation processes.
  • Commercial awareness — able to spot expansion opportunity and scoping risk, and to communicate it to the right people.
  • Based in the Greater Toronto Area or willing to work within Eastern Time hours. Ability to travel to client sites for key engagement milestones as needed.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada. Able to travel domestically and internationally as required and hold a valid passport.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience implementing CPM or FP&A platforms (e.g. Prophix, Anaplan, OneStream, Adaptive, TM1/Planning Analytics).
  • Experience with financial consolidation platforms (e.g. Prophix FC, HFM, CCH Tagetik, LucaNet) is a meaningful advantage.
  • Familiarity with ERP data integration patterns (SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics 365, or similar).
  • Experience managing engagements involving partner co-delivery models.
  • Proficiency in French (written and spoken) is an asset for client engagement across Canada.
