<p>Eastport Limited is a premier, high-capacity RMG manufacturing facility located in Cumilla, Bangladesh. With a dedicated workforce of over 2,700 employees, we specialize in producing world-class workwear and safety wear tailored for highly demanding markets across Europe and the USA. We are seeking a dynamic, result-oriented, and experienced Operations Manager to spearhead our plant operations, drive operational excellence, and sustain our global growth</p>
<p><br><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>End-to-End Factory Operations:</strong> Oversee complete, end-to-end plant manufacturing processes, optimizing overall workflow efficiency.</li>
<li><strong>Production & Supply Chain Integration:</strong> Supervise and coordinate functional units including PP Sampling, Cutting, Finishing, and Fabrics & Trims Stores to ensure seamless production flow.</li>
<li><strong>On-Time Delivery & Right-First-Time Quality:</strong> Guarantee complete alignment with strict buyer specifications to hit on-time shipments with zero quality compromises.</li>
<li><strong>Financial & Operational Metrics:</strong> Drive critical efficiency indicators including Cost Per Minute (CPM) monitoring and optimizing direct-to-indirect labor ratios.</li>
<li><strong>Continuous Improvement & Lean Culture:</strong> Establish, champion, and cultivate a robust lean manufacturing culture focused on continuous waste reduction and process improvement.</li>
<li><strong>Workforce Management:</strong> Implement employee engagement frameworks to sustain a stable, productive workforce and maintain low employee turnover rates.</li>
<li><strong>Global Trade Compliance:</strong> Ensure unconditional factory compliance with international statutory laws, buyer codes of conduct, safety mandates, and technical guidelines.</li>
<li><strong>Talent Development:</strong> Actively mentor, coach, and upgrade the technical and operational competencies of junior management teams.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Industry Experience:</strong> Proven leadership track record as an Operations Manager or a Senior Production Manager inside a large-scale RMG factory (minimum 2,500+ workforce scale).</li>
<li><strong>Product Knowledge:</strong> Deep, practical technical expertise in heavy woven, functional workwear, or industrial safety wear garments meant for European and US buyer networks.</li>
<li><strong>Analytical Capabilities:</strong> Solid quantitative control over plant KPIs, including line balancing, capacity planning, CPM calculations, and labor matrix analysis.</li>
<li><strong>Interpersonal & Leadership Style:</strong> Exceptional leadership capability capable of driving multi-tier teams, managing large labor workforces, and negotiating across organizational lines.</li>
<li><strong>Postgraduate Degree (Preferred):</strong> Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or Human Resource Management is highly desirable.</li>
<li><strong>Professional Certifications:</strong> Certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), or advanced Production Management frameworks will be considered a significant advantage.</li>
