Job Description:
The Clinical Patient Support Representative plays a vital rolebycombining the responsibilities of a Medical Assistant and Front Desk Receptionist. You will work collaboratively with clinical staff and administrative personnel to ensure the efficient and seamless operation of our clinical offices.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Medical Assistant | Clinical Support
-
Assisthealthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.

Prepares examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and well-organized.

Record patient medical history and vital signs accurately.

Administer medications and injections as directed byhealthcare providers.
-
Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis.
-
Maintain infection control standards and ensure proper sterilization of equipment.
Front Desk Reception |Administrative

Greet patients and visitors in a warm and friendly manner, providing a positive and professional first impressionofthe clinic.

Schedule appointmentsandassistwith the scheduling of anyadditionaltestingdirected by the physician.

Answer incoming calls, address inquiries, and direct calls appropriately.

Verify insurancecoverage andassistpatients with billing questions.

Collect paymentsattimeof check-in.

Reviewpatient demographics, ensuringall data has been recorded, verifying accuracy,andenteringthe information into Practice Management and EHR.

Obtain and scanpatients'driver'slicenses and insurance card(s)intoNtierprise.
-
Ensureall required referrals have been obtained, scanned into the EMR,and linked appropriately.

Assistpatients withregistering in Phreesia.

Qualifications:

Minimum High School Diploma or GEDrequired.

Minimum of five (5)yearsfront office and clinical experience, preferably in Urology.

Proficient knowledge of Medical Terminology; ICD-10 and CPT-4 Codes.

As part of your position's requirements, you are expected to travel to other sites within a reasonable geographic region.

Current knowledge of acceptable andappropriate clinicalpractice, quality assurance, and patient management and care.

Proficient knowledge of medical terminology.

Comfortable asking probing questions to patients.

Maintain & adhere to HIPAA compliance/ regulations.

Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute.

Must have theability & willingnessto travel to othersites as necessary within ageographic region.
Job Type:Full-Time
Pay Range:$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Actual compensation offered to candidates is based on work experience, education, skill level,and geographic location. Compensation may vary depending on the state or region in which theposition islocated,in accordance withapplicable laws.
