About The Role

The College of Business Marketing & Communication Manager (Academic Program Management Specialist II) serves as the engine for the college's public presence, lead-generation architecture, and stakeholder outreach. Reporting to the Associate Dean, the Manager aligns multi-channel promotional campaigns with macro-level enrollment metrics, academic program lifecycles, and institutional advancement initiatives.

Essential Functions:
Academic Program Marketing & Recruitment Strategy:

  • Generate, maintain, and execute a comprehensive marketing plan.
  • Develop, execute, and monitor comprehensive, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Map and continuously optimize the digital inquiry-to-applicant communication funnel.

Design, produce, and execute targeted recruitment toolkits.
Public Relations & Alumni Engagement:

  • Serve as the primary journalistic storyteller for the college.
  • Partner with Advancement and the Dean’s Office in managing the alumni network and related events.
  • Direct the editorial calendar and content distribution strategy.
  • Coordinate media relations and local/national press releases.

Brand Stewardship, Public Footprint & Creative Operations:

  • Direct the complete visual identity and brand execution across all physical and digital spaces.
  • Manage the architecture, content deployment, and continuous updates of the college’s media contents
  • Oversee the college's public footprint.
  • Supervise and mentor student creative assistants.
  • Design and produce the alumni magazine ASPIRE.

Work Hours:
Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Additional hours if/when needed.

Salary:
Commensurate with education and experience. Level P2, Grade 10.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a related field. Experience with social media management, CMS, Search Engine Optimization tools. At least three years of social media, marketing, development, and/or recruitment experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree from an accredited institution in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in strategic communications, in Higher Education.
