About The Role

DNV is seeking a motivated and results-driven sales professional to drive the growth of our Aerospace and Management Systems certification and training portfolio across North America. The ideal candidate will have experience selling training, certification, consulting, or related professional services and possess a strong understanding of the aerospace industry, including AS91xx and related quality management systems.
This position can be remote from anywhere in the Continental U.S.

What You'll Do

  • Drive growth of Aerospace certification and public/private training sales across North America.
  • Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, referrals, networking, and existing client relationships.
  • Identify client training needs and recommend appropriate learning solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and close sales opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
  • Collaborate with trainers, operations, marketing, and certification sales teams to maximize opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline and customer information within CRM systems.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to support business growth.

For California, Washington, New York, Washington, D.C., Illinois, and Maryland: “DNV provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. The actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. For the states of California, Washington, New York, Washington, D.C., Illinois, and Maryland only, the starting pay range for this role is $65000 - $85000 USD annual.
What Is Required:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or customer-facing roles within the aerospace, aviation, defense, certification, training, or related industries.
  • Strong consultative selling, relationship management, and business development skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with quality, operational, engineering, and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Oracle or similar tools
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills including presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Oracle, HubSpot)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% per year, primarily to trade shows and conferences including U.S.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • The employee would be required to draft and review internal documents in English to be used throughout North America.

What Is Preferred:

  • Additional knowledge of management system standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 27001, IATF or related standards is highly desirable.
