About The Role

Basic Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of materials, equipment, techniques, and procedures used in the maintenance and repair of all facility systems.
  • High School education or equivalent.
  • Experience in trouble shooting and repair of electrical equipment, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing.
  • Experience in repairing motors, pumps, compressors, etc.
  • One-year electrical experience.
  • One-year mechanical experience.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.

Examples of Job Duties

  • Repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Replacing switches and motors as necessary.
  • Inspect mechanical equipment for proper operation and compliance with regulations, replacing bearings and motors as required.
  • Understand building controls and the systems associated with each.
  • Trouble shoot and repair systems and provides quick response to interruptions.
  • Maintenance and repair electrical devices (including high voltage), repair electrical wiring, replace light bulbs and ballasts.
  • Replace pumps, rusted pipes, and gaskets.
  • Install commodes, sinks, clean out floor drains and sinks and repairs to property.
  • Perform other duties assigned by Supervisor.
