Following private equity investment from Vista Equity Partners, we are scaling rapidly and looking to build out our Account Director team.
Note: This is a fully remote position, open to applicants based in Ontario, Canada.
We're looking for an Accountant to join our small, high-performing finance team. It's a great entry point for a recent graduate or newly qualified accountant looking to build a career beyond traditional bookkeeping. You'll have visibility across the business and be able to provide insights that support key decisions, with mentorship along the way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support commercial and operational analysis, reporting, and dashboards to track business performance
  • Partner with stakeholders across the global business to provide financial insight and support
  • Assist with month-end close, including journal preparation and balance sheet reviews
  • Perform bank reconciliations, monitor cash movements, and support intercompany cash tracking
  • Support accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
  • Manage the finance inbox and other financial administration
  • Support continuous improvement across finance processes and controls

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance, or a newly qualified accountant
  • Strong analytical skills with an interest in interpreting and communicating financial data
  • Solid Excel skills and comfort learning new systems
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and drives tasks to completion with minimal oversight
  • Skilled at reconciling data and spotting missing or inconsistent information before it becomes a problem
  • Experience with Canadian and/or US sales tax would be advantageous
