About The Role

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for executing advanced technical services and leading operational activities for installation, commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance, and optimization of specialized industrial equipment. This role ensures system reliability and efficiency through complex diagnostics, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and software updates. Additionally, the engineer will lead installation and commissioning projects, develop comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and uphold the highest standards of quality and safety during all interventions.
The Field Service Engineer is an expert in process engineering, automation, and/or control systems, with the ability to implement technological improvements and optimizations on existing equipment.
Responsibilities / Tasks
The Field Service Technician is responsible for performing installation, commissioning, routine maintenance, emergency service, warranty work, and minor repairs on a variety of industrial equipment under occasional supervision.
This role ensures optimal performance and reliability of NPE systems through precise mechanical and electrical interventions, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing upgrades.
The technician will also prepare detailed operation and maintenance reports, provide accurate labor estimates, and deliver technical training to customers for proper operation and maintenance
The Field Service Technician will oversee inspecting, repairing, and optimizing NPE technologies; installing new equipment and upgrades (mechanical and automation), diagnosing and resolving system issues and communicating gaps; supporting internal stakeholders with parts requests and quotations. This position integrates a regional vision by adopting digital diagnostics tools for predictive maintenance, emphasizing sustainability in resource use.
Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Technical degree or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or related industrial technology field is accepted and valued.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent is preferred but not required for candidates with demonstrated field technical experience.Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in automation and mechanical processing in industrial environments.
  • Technical understanding of manuals, assembly drawings, software, electrical and mechanical documentation in industrial contexts.
  • Experience in NPE technologies knowledge by exposition or exposure. High professional ethical standards and diverse workplace experience in field or industrial settings.
  • Strong team collaboration and ability to work independently in technical, fast-paced field environments.
  • Problem-solving skills and innovative thinking to address difficult and sometimes complex technical issues.
  • Customer-centered and learnability approach.
  • Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Intermediate – Upper Intermediate English command.
