</div><p><strong>What you’ll be doing:</strong></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, core business hours.</span></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Location: This position is posted as remote; however, per company policy, candidates residing within a 35‑mile radius of ZIP code 80230 will be required to follow a hybrid schedule (3 days/week onsite), even if they applied to the remote posting.</span></p>
<p>The Compliance Specialist provides foundational support to the organization's compliance program, risk-management activities, and policy and procedure administration. This role also serves as a key point of contact for patient rights, grievances and advocacy needs. The position helps ensure regulatory alignment, promotes safety and ethical care and strengthens the organization’s culture of compliance.</p>
<p><strong>Essential duties and responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Supports the risk management team with administrative duties, and may assist with preliminary investigations, fact gathering and follow-up tasks
<ul>
<li>Maintains risk management documentation and risk mitigation files</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Serves as the accessible point of contact for patients and families seeking to file a formal complaint or grievance
<ul>
<li>Documents grievances, coordinates responses, and ensures timely resolution in accordance with regulatory timelines</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Assists with policy lifecycle management, including formatting, proofreading version control, and distribution
<ul>
<li>Maintains the organization’s policy library, tracks review cycles, update schedules and required approvals</li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Must haves:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health, healthcare administration or related field or applicable experience (required)</li>
<li>2-3+ years of behavioral health experience (required)</li>
<li>1+ years of project management experience (required)</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Bonus qualities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>1+ years of experience in patient advocacy in the behavioral health setting (preferred)</li>
<li>1+ years of experience in healthcare compliance and or risk management (preferred)</li>
<li>1+ year of experience in Microsoft applications (preferred)</li>
<li>Experience working with multidisciplinary teams (preferred)</li>
