<h3>Austin Psychiatrists: Looking for a Better Practice Environment?</h3>
<p><strong>Eating Recovery Center (ERC) and Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center</strong> are seeking a <strong>full-time Psychiatrist</strong> to join our team in <strong>Austin, Texas</strong>, supporting patients across both of our programs.</p>
<p>We’re looking for a <strong>General Psychiatrist who is comfortable treating patients across the age spectrum, from children and adolescents through adults.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship training is not required.</strong> What’s most important is a psychiatrist who is comfortable and willing to treat younger patients as well as adults within our PHP setting.</p>

<h3>What You’ll Be Doing</h3>
<p>Our psychiatrists lead multidisciplinary treatment teams and provide comprehensive psychiatric care to patients across <strong>Eating Recovery Center and Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center</strong>.</p>
<p>This role provides the opportunity to work with individuals experiencing eating disorders as well as mood, anxiety, trauma-related, and other co-occurring psychiatric conditions.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities include:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations</li>
<li>Diagnosing psychiatric conditions and developing individualized treatment plans</li>
<li>Prescribing and managing psychotropic medications</li>
<li>Providing psychiatric care to <strong>children, adolescents, and adults</strong></li>
<li>Determining appropriate levels of care</li>
<li>Collaborating closely with therapists, dietitians, nursing teams, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals</li>
<li>Participating in multidisciplinary treatment planning</li>
<li>Advocating for patients within healthcare and insurance systems</li>
<li>Completing timely and thorough clinical documentation</li>
<li>Collaborating with families, support persons, and referring providers as appropriate</li>
<li>Participating in insurance peer reviews to help optimize treatment duration and outcomes</li>
</ul>
<h3>Direct Patient Care & Professional Expectations</h3>
<ul>
<li>Practice evidence-based, high-quality psychiatric medicine focused on exceptional patient care and outcomes</li>
<li>Support patient understanding, engagement, and shared decision-making</li>
<li>Maintain complete, accurate, and timely medical records</li>
<li>Collaborate with clinical leadership, physicians, treatment teams, families, and referring providers</li>
<li>Promote a culture of respect, collaboration, and clinical excellence</li>
<li>Support organizational goals related to quality, compliance, outcomes, and patient satisfaction</li>
<li>Participate in continuing education, staff training, and professional development</li>
<li>Serve as a clinical resource, teacher, and mentor to members of the multidisciplinary team</li>
</ul>
<h3>Schedule & Call Expectations</h3>
<p>This is a <strong>full-time, onsite position in Austin, Texas, with an expectation of being onsite five days per week.</strong></p>
<p>Physicians also participate in the <strong>call rotation</strong>, providing coverage and supporting clinical teams with urgent psychiatric consultation and patient care needs during assigned call periods.</p>
<h3>Required Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)</li>
<li>Completion of an accredited Psychiatry Residency Program or equivalent training</li>
<li><strong>General Psychiatry training required</strong></li>
<li><strong>Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship training is NOT required</strong></li>
<li>Must be willing and comfortable treating <strong>children, adolescents, and adults</strong></li>
<li>Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry</li>
<li>Licensed to practice medicine in Texas or eligible for Texas licensure</li>
<li>Maintain all required certifications, licensure, and registrations</li>
</ul>
