We are looking for graduates to join our Roads team in 2027. This is an opportunity to work in a leading engineering and professional services consultancy, helping to design, improve and maintain the road networks that connect communities, support economic growth and keep people moving.

A little bit more about your role and the team…
As a Graduate in our Roads team, you will contribute to projects that help keep people and communities connected through safe, efficient and sustainable transport networks. Our teams work on a wide range of schemes, from major highways and junction improvements to active travel routes, smart mobility solutions and large-scale infrastructure developments that support future growth.
You will be part of multidisciplinary project teams, supported by experienced engineers and specialists, and given exposure to real-world challenges. You could find yourself supporting highway design, producing technical drawings and calculations, using industry-standard software, analysing traffic and transport data, attending site visits, engaging with clients and stakeholders, and helping develop practical solutions to complex engineering challenges.

What we’re looking for

You will have, or be on track to achieve, at least a 2:2 in a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree such as Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline. You will be looking to start work in April or September 2027.

You will have an interest in road and highway infrastructure, transport networks, active travel and improving connectivity for communities.

Our two-year Graduate Development Programme is designed to help you build the skills, experience and professional network needed to thrive at the start of your career with us.
