About The Role

Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. is seeking highly motivated, analytical, and entrepreneurial candidates for its 2027 Investment Banking Analyst Program within the Real Estate Investment Banking Group. Analysts will work side‑by‑side with senior bankers on mergers & acquisitions, equity and debt financings, strategic advisory, and other complex transactions across a broad spectrum of real‑estate sectors, gaining hands‑on experience and exposure to institutional investors, REITs, private equity sponsors, and public companies.

  • Support execution of M&A, strategic advisory, and capital‑markets transactions for real‑estate clients.
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models, including DCF, NAV, merger, and LBO analyses.
  • Prepare client presentations, pitch books, confidential information memoranda, and marketing materials.
  • Conduct industry, company, and market research across office, industrial, multifamily, retail, hospitality, data‑center, and alternative asset sectors.
  • Perform financial statement analysis and due‑diligence for prospective transactions.
  • Coordinate transaction execution with clients, legal counsel, accountants, and other advisors.
  • Monitor real‑estate capital markets, industry trends, and comparable transactions.
  • Participate in client meetings and internal deal‑team discussions.
  • Assist in the preparation of transaction documentation and regulatory filings.
  • Maintain internal databases and track deal pipeline activity.
  • Expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2027.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong academic record with demonstrated analytical capabilities.
  • Prior internship experience in investment banking, real‑estate finance, corporate finance, valuation, consulting, or related fields (preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent quantitative, financial modeling, and valuation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and eagerness to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
