<p>The Film & Digital Media Project Coordinator is primarily responsible for the oversight and coordination of a variety of high impact projects that play a key part in the Arizona Film & Digital Media Office continuing growth and expansion. This individual will work closely and collaboratively with stakeholders to plan, support, and organize projects within a broad framework of general policy, which requires creativity and resourcefulness to accomplish goals and objectives of the ACA.</p>
<p><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Serve as first point of contact for inbound inquiries to the Film & Digital Media Program (FDMP) relating to project assistance.</li>
<li>Responsible for registration of all incoming projects into the FDMP’s databases (e.g., Salesforce, Reel Scout).</li>
<li>Generate required weekly activity reports (e.g., Board of Directors report) for the FDMP.</li>
<li>Disseminate information to leadership team for detailed decision points and project timelines.</li>
<li>Assist the Director with recruitment of college students into the Film Ready Crew Program.</li>
<li>Participate in the identification of and secure film locations in the public and private sector; coordinate film permitting within the state and support all administrative duties.</li>
<li>Maintain the Arizona Film Location Photo Library in a format consistent with industry standards.</li>
<li>Maintain programmatic resources, assist on document creation for events and initiatives.</li>
<li>May participate and support the coordination of film industry events and/or trade shows as needed, e.g., AZ Tech Week.</li>
<li>Serve as a resource to the team, gathering information, solving problems, and communicating with the project team, marketing and finance departments, vendors, other internal and external partners.</li>
<li>Build and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers and the public using principles of good customer service.</li>
<li>Independently perform special projects that require a combination of administrative, creative, and communication skills.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>COMPETENCY, EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, film production, or a related field, or equivalent experience.</li>
<li>Minimum of two (2) years of experience in administration or project/program coordination.</li>
<li>Knowledge of office administration, project support, event coordination, and database systems.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team approach.</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple projects independently in dynamic environments.</li>
<li>Highly organized, self-directed, with effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.</li>
<li>Proficient in MS Office Suite, industry-related software, and web technologies.</li>
<li>Flexibility to work outside standard business hours for external events.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>HIGHLY PREFERRED SKILLS, ABILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Familiarity with film production, technical theater, and/or digital media production.</li>
<li>Innovative and open to unconventional and creative tasks.</li>
<li>A self-starter interested in contributing to a dynamic program.</li>
<li>Strong client service skills and ability to work with diverse teams and cultures.</li>
<li>Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and completeness.</li>
<li>Enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects.</li>
<li>Adaptable and flexible, capable of handling frequent shifts in direction.</li>
<li>Achievement-oriented and willing to take on challenges.</li>
