Job title: Head of School (Deputy Head terms and conditions).
This is an exciting opportunity to take on the role of Head of School at St Edmund’s and St Joseph’s Catholic Primary Schools. We are looking for a nurturing, ambitious and experienced leader to work alongside the Executive Headteacher and Assistant Heads.
The role is predominantly non-classed based and involves leadership across both sites. You will bring your expertise and knowledge of the primary curriculum to support colleagues to ensure pupils enjoy a knowledge rich learning experience which promotes inclusion, diversity and excellence. Catholic Social Teaching sits at the heart of our schools, and we are proud of the role the school plays in helping our pupils take on community leadership to recognise our responsibility as global citizens.
You will take on the role of Designated Safeguarding lead at St Edmund’s.
You will be joining The Our Lady of Walsingham Trust where shared working provides opportunities for collaboration, coaching and mentoring with 11 other schools in Suffolk and Cambridge. Staff well-being is actively promoted to ensure staff can enjoy a successful work-life balance.
We nurture the whole child and use therapeutic approaches to support social, emotional and spiritual development. You will play a leading role in the faith life of the school and supporting pupils to live and learn according to our Catholic beliefs.
