We are looking for a Common Area Attendant to join our team at our beautiful resort, Eilan Hotel and Spa in San Antonio.This role involves maintaining cleanliness and order in various common areas, ensuring a pleasant experience for guests and staff.
The Eilan Resort & Spa is a Hilton Grand Vacations property in Northwest San Antonio, near The Rim and La Cantera, featuring a Tuscan‑inspired design completed in 2011 and offering 165 guestrooms. It is a central element of the 120‑acre Eilan mixed‑use development, integrating lodging with offices, residences, retail, dining, and shared community amenities. The resort features a full‑service spa with 10 treatment rooms, approximately 14,000 square feet of flexible event space, and multiple food and beverage outlets including the Social restaurant serving breakfast and dinner, the Mercato coffee shop, and a seasonal pool bar.
Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

What will I be doing?

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all assigned common areas.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, such as vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Restock and replenish amenities and supplies in common areas as needed.
  • Ensure proper waste management and recycling practices are followed.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages to the relevant department promptly.
  • Assist in light laundry duties, including sorting and folding linens.
  • Greet and interact with guests and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Uphold the Hilton brand image and values in all interactions and tasks.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
  • Maintain a positive and collaborative attitude with colleagues.
  • Other duties as assigned by leader

To fulfill this role optimally, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
What are we looking for?

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate loads.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning products and techniques.
  • Willingness to undergo training and adhere to Hilton's standards.
  • A positive and guest-centric attitude.
