About The Role
Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Perform production operations according to approved work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), process specifications, and production schedules.
- Assemble, process, inspect, test, and package related product components and assemblies.

Perform visual and dimensional inspection of components and finished products based on established quality criteria.

Monitor equipment and process conditions and immediately report abnormalities, defects, or equipment issues to the appropriate personnel.

Perform basic equipment setup, adjustments, cleaning, and preventive maintenance activities within the operator's authorized scope.

Follow proper material identification, lot/batch control, FIFO/FEFO requirements where applicable, and product traceability procedures.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and production area in accordance with 5S and clean manufacturing practices.

Meet established production targets while maintaining required quality and safety standards.

Participate in continuous improvement, productivity, waste reduction, and quality improvement initiatives.

Comply with all company policies, occupational health and safety regulations, environmental requirements, and applicable Philippine labor and manufacturing standards.

Perform other production-related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Education & Experience
- Highschool graduate.
Skills
- Good manual dexterity, able to manipulate very small parts with tweezers and other instruments
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Excellent eyesight; vision correctable with glasses is acceptable; no contact lenses
- Ability to work with small and delicate components and perform repetitive precision tasks.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
- Ability to operate production equipment and hand tools after appropriate training.
- Basic knowledge of measurement and inspection tools.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, process specifications, drawings, diagrams, and visual standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects or abnormalities.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining consistent quality and productivity.
- An understanding of clean room protocol and procedures is preferred.
- Able to work independently as well as in a group environment.
- Willingness and ability to learn new processes, equipment, and manufacturing technologies.
- Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp.
