🚀 About the role
As we continue to grow across our direct-to-consumer and retail channels, Operations is where it all comes together. Everything a customer receives, from a personalised pill pack posted through their letterbox to a pallet of Health Goals arriving at a retailer depot, passes through this role.
It is a hugely varied position, covering supply chain and stock, our three third party logistics partners, a network of manufacturers and co-packers, new product development, quality and regulatory compliance, customer delight, and a good slice of finance and commercial admin. You will work with every team in the business, as well as with partners and suppliers across the UK and Europe.
We are an AI-driven business, and that runs right through how we work, not just through our product. AI is how a team of our size moves at the speed we do. Where something is repetitive, we build with AI for it rather than doing it by hand every week. You will be expected to lead with AI rather than work around it, and you will have the time and the backing to build what you need. We are a small team, so this is a role for someone happy to roll their sleeves up, get into the detail and take the lead on the things they own. You will be trusted to set your own priorities, build the models and tools you need, and bring the founder well thought through recommendations. 💻 A bit about you
● A degree in any discipline from a top tier university
● At least 1-2 years of commercial experience
● You are highly numerate, resourceful and proactive with a demonstrable hunger to learn and grow both personally and professionally
● You have strong knowledge of Google Workspace and Google Sheets
● You have good experience of Claude, Chat GPT, Gemini and other AI tools.
● You take the initiative and value speed in getting things done
● Exceptional organisational skills to ensure nothing is missed and a keen eye for detail
● You are comfortable in the face of uncertainty and know that challenges often arise which require flexibility, compromise and creative solutions
● Keen interest in startups and technology
● Strong interpersonal skills
👌 Extra credit
● Experience in food, supplements, pharma or another regulated product category
● Experience working with 3PLs, co-packers or contract manufacturers
● Exposure to grocery and high street retail operations, including depot bookings, retros and remittances
● Some technical ability, for example Python, SQL, Zapier or building dashboards, or a track record of automating your own work
● Experience with international shipping, customs and EU compliance
