About The Role

About Team
-
At IPF Digital, we provide consumer lending solutions designed to make life easier through simple, transparent and data-driven financial products. Our purpose is to build a better world through financial inclusion, and trusted data and insight play an important role in helping us make better decisions for our customers and our business.
-
Our Central Analytics team brings together data, technology and business expertise to turn information into meaningful insight. Working closely with the Global Data Office and teams across our international markets, we are building modern cloud-based data and BI capabilities that enable better, faster and more consistent decision-making.
-
We want our people to grow, stay curious and see the impact of their work. You’ll lead a collaborative and highly skilled international team where knowledge sharing, continuous improvement and new ideas are encouraged, while supporting an environment where people can perform at their best.
This role is based in Warsaw, Poland, with responsibility for initiatives across all IPF Digital operations and markets.
Here’s how you’ll put your skills into action:
-
Data & BI Strategy: Turn our data strategy into action, working in partnership with the Global Data Office and senior stakeholders to develop our BI and AI capabilities. You’ll lead the evolution towards a modern Snowflake-based data platform, ensuring our investment in data delivers measurable value across IPF Digital.
-
Data Architecture & Engineering: Lead the development and continuous improvement of our cloud data warehouse, data models and integrations. You’ll oversee the delivery of high-quality silver and gold data products and ensure our architecture supports reliable reporting, analytics, AI and operational processes across the business.
-
Data Management & Governance: Create confidence in the data people use to make decisions. You’ll ensure key business indicators are consistent, clearly defined and documented, while embedding data quality, access and governance standards established by the Global Data Office and meeting GDPR, DORA and other relevant requirements.
-
Business Intelligence & Analytics: Enable senior leaders, country managers and functional teams to turn data into action. You’ll shape flexible reporting, analytics and AI solutions around real business needs and act as a trusted partner on data flows, reporting, models and insight across Finance, Credit Risk, Marketing, Collections, Compliance, IT and other functions.
-
Delivery & Financial Management: Take ownership of effective delivery across the Analytics function, balancing business priorities, resources and technical dependencies. You’ll manage cloud processing and BI/AI tooling budgets, oversee delivery against agreed service levels, and work with IT to assess how system developments affect data and analytics capabilities.
-
Leadership & Capability Development: Lead and develop a Central Analytics team of around 15 people, creating the conditions for high performance, collaboration and continuous improvement. You’ll shape the team structure and capabilities around changing business priorities, support recruitment and onboarding, develop your people, and encourage teams to challenge existing approaches and find better solutions.
-
Communication and language skills: Communicate confidently and clearly in both Polish and English, adapting your language and style to suit diverse audiences. You’ll facilitate collaboration across international teams, ensuring shared understanding and smooth delivery across markets.
We also know that experience counts – and we believe that the following can support your success:
-
Significant leadership experience within data, data warehousing, business intelligence, management information or a related field, including experience leading sizeable teams and complex cross-functional initiatives in an international environment.
-
Strong experience leading and budgeting DWH/BI programmes, combined with the ability to translate business strategy into an effective data, BI and AI roadmap and influence senior leaders across functions and geographies.
-
Deep understanding of modern data warehouse and business intelligence architecture, with strong expertise in DWH design, data modelling, ETL/ELT, database optimisation and advanced SQL.
-
Hands-on understanding of modern cloud data technologies, particularly Snowflake, dbt, AWS and Tableau or comparable BI platforms. Knowledge of Snowflake Cortex and emerging AI capabilities, Python and Streamlit would be valuable.
-
Experience establishing reliable data products, governance and quality practices, including managing data definitions, access and regulatory requirements within complex organisations.
-
Experience within digital financial services, consumer lending or another financial services environment would be beneficial, particularly knowledge of consumer credit portfolios and credit scoring processes.
-
An MSc or equivalent qualification in a STEM discipline, alongside relevant Data Warehouse, BI, data or AI expertise, would support success in the role. International mobility would also be an advantage.
Our hiring approach
As part of our skills-first recruitment process, you will be asked to complete a practical work challenge. This gives you a chance to showcase your skills, your way of thinking, and your problem-solving approach – beyond what’s on a CV.
In the next steps, we’ll focus on getting to know you better through conversations around culture fit and soft skills, to ensure we’re a great match for each other.
What can we offer you?
