<h3><strong>About the role</strong></h3>
<p>Riverlane is looking for a <strong>Sales Support Specialist</strong> to join our growing Commercial and go-to-market team in the UK. This role exists to keep the commercial engine running smoothly: clean pipeline data, reliable reporting, and well-coordinated deal admin, so our Business Development team can focus on customers and closing.</p>
<p>You'll work closely with the Commercial team (currently four and growing), acting as the operational backbone across CRM hygiene, sales reporting, finance liaison, and meeting/document coordination. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role suited to someone who enjoys structure, spreadsheets, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks in a fast-moving scale-up.</p>
<p>Reporting into the Commercial team, this role has the potential to evolve as we scale globally, with scope to grow into a broader sales operations remit over time.</p>
<p><em>Note: this is an office-based position requiring you to be in our Cambridge office at least four days a week.</em></p>
<h3><strong>Key responsibilities</strong></h3>
<p><strong>Pipeline & sales reporting</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Own day-to-day hygiene of Salesforce and other CRM tools: keeping opportunities, close dates, and account plans up to date</li>
<li>Check consistency across reporting tools (spreadsheets, account plans, Salesforce) and flag misalignments to the BD team</li>
<li>Support document preparation for tracking sales pipelines, forecasts, and forward-looking revenue, working with the commercial team to reconcile projections</li>
<li>Liaise with Finance on targets for the next 6/12 months, including checking close dates and preparing a clean, reconciled view of current targets</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Deal & contract admin</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Basic contract support and administration (Q&A, routine amendments, budget updates)</li>
<li>Liaise with Finance on invoicing and documentation after sales closure</li>
<li>Interface with internal support functions (Finance, Legal, PMO) to keep deals moving</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Meeting & team coordination</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Help prepare agendas for BD-led meetings, coordinating material gathering from BD and other teams</li>
<li>Coordinate meetings, VIP visits, conferences, events, and off-sites</li>
<li>Diary management and travel booking (UK and international) for the team members you support</li>
<li>Provide an operational interface with the Riverlane US, Singapore, and other global teams to keep administrative practices aligned</li>
</ul>

<h3><strong>What we need</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Experience in a sales support, sales operations, or commercial coordination role</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with a CRM (Salesforce strongly preferred) for data entry, hygiene, and basic reporting</li>
<li>Strong Excel skills for pipeline tracking and reporting; comfortable with Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams/Zoom</li>
<li>Excellent organisational skills and comfort managing a demanding, changing workload with competing priorities</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to absorb information quickly and adapt calmly to last-minute change</li>
<li>Self-motivated, proactive, and genuinely enjoys supporting a team through fast-paced change</li>
</ul>
