The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

General Purpose: In an inpatient setting, remains accountable for provision of direct care to assigned patients. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system. Works as a team member and assists other staff members with implementing patient care. Assumes responsibility of care for assigned patients under the direction of the co-assigned RN or MD. Participates in the plan of care, implements appropriate nursing interventions, and contributes to patient/family education through collection of data, interdisciplinary team collaboration, documentation and excellent communication.

patient-centered care to a diverse population of adult patients with a variety of acute and complex medical conditions. Will work collaboratively with RNs and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide safe, high-quality care and support positive patient outcomes throughout the hospitalization. Is responsible for providing nursing care within the scope of practice, including collecting patient data, monitoring patient condition and response to treatment, administering medications and treatments as permitted by state regulations and organizational policy, assisting with activities of daily living, providing patient education, and promptly communicating changes in patient condition to the RN and appropriate members of the healthcare team.
