Dental Assistant/Receptionist - Maven Dental Ferny Grove

You’ll play an important role in supporting our clinical team and creating a welcoming experience for our patients.
You’ll work across both Dental Assisting and Reception, so no two days will be exactly the same.
Your responsibilities will include:
Dental Assisting

• Chairside assisting during a range of dental procedures
• Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring equipment and instruments are ready
• Cleaning and sterilising instruments in line with infection control requirements
• Supporting dentists and the wider clinical team throughout patient appointments
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised clinical environment
• Providing a friendly and reassuring experience for patients

Reception

• Welcoming patients and providing excellent customer service
• Answering phones and responding to patient enquiries
• Managing appointments and patient bookings
• Processing payments and handling general reception administration
• Updating patient records and maintaining accurate information
• ​​​​​​​Supporting the practice team with day-to-day administrative tasks

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is friendly, approachable and enjoys working with people
• Has a positive and can-do attitude
• Is reliable, organised and willing to learn
• Is comfortable working across both clinical and reception duties
• Works well as part of a team
• Has dental experience, or is enthusiastic about starting a career in dentistry

Dental experience is preferred but not essential.
EXACT software experience is desirable, but not essential - training can be provided for the right person.
What’s on offer?

• Full-time hours across a 4-day working week
• 7:30am – 5:30pm
• Must be available to work Fridays
• An additional day off each week
