Vice President, Anti Money Laundering/Prevention/Know Your Client

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of VPR, Anti Money Laundering/Prevention/Know Your Client Manager to join our AML and Client Onboarding team. This role is located in Manchester, UK.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Lead the onboarding strategy and execution for clients adopting new commercial offering, ensuring operational readiness, governance, and a high-quality client experience.
• Oversee cross-functional onboarding teams and establish clear accountability across client support, product, operations, technology, and control partners.
• Design scalable onboarding frameworks that balance client experience, regulatory requirements, and speed to implementation.
• Drive executive-level client engagement during onboarding, particularly for complex, high-value, or strategically important relationships.
• Mitigate implementation risk through disciplined issue management, milestone tracking, and proactive escalation.
• Use onboarding data, client feedback, and service insights to refine processes and improve product launch effectiveness.
• Build strong post-sale client relationships that support adoption, deepen engagement, and position the firm for long-term growth.
• Develop and implement robust AML/KYC policies and procedures by continuously assessing regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Drives the use of AI and can adapt to an ever-changing environment.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) are preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Expertise in AML/KYC regulations and compliance practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
